Braggin' rights!

Bonjour from Campagne Maison

Today I picked my first ripe cherry tomato!

My mom and sister have over two dozen tomato plants covered with tennis-ball size green tomatoes, all the while I've been waiting in anticipation of seeing the blooms on mine transform themselves into the coveted treasure.

But today, as I was walking by my tiny cherry tomato plant, much to my surprise, look what I found!

Now, I can lay claim to braggin' rights by harvesting the first ripe tomato!

Ahhhhhhhh, I love it when "Underdog" puts on his cape and saves the day!

Thanks for stopping by the farmhouse for a visit. We love having company!

Au revoir,

Yay Jacqui! I'm very excited for you my dear friend. Isn't it a wonderful feeling to reap the fruits of your labor? Hee, hee, hee. Pun intended :-) Have a wonderful day and enjoy your cherry tomato.

Much love,
♥Ana

Congratulations on winning the bragging rights to the first tomato. Did it taste absolutely scrumptious!

Loved reading about and seeing the levee in Osceola. I did not realize how close to the top the flood waters came! Bet there were some anxious Osceola folk. It is always so exciting to get that first tomato. We had our very first tomato sammich a couple of days ago. It was literally "A" tomato sammich. The tomato wasn't big enough to make two sandwiches, so I made one and we shared!

You brag girl, I love it!
I can't believe it has been 2 years since boot camp for Jeff. You are right, it seems like just yesterday I was blogging about his military decision (now I really don't blog much-hehe).
Big hugs to you.
