Hyacinths for the Soul--Part II

Bonjour from Campagne Maison

Sarah is posting her Pay If Forward gift Part II, on her Pink Saturday post today. Please hurry on over there to see what she has posted and please comment for a chance to participate! It is so much fun and I know you will be happy that you did!

I've always heard that you never get too old to learn. I spend alot of my "quiet time" each morning, reading and learning new things just by reading blogs. Many people who do not blog think it is a waste of time. I totally disagree!! I have learned something from EVERY ONE of my blog friends.

Until I met Sarah at Hyacinths for the Soul, I knew NOTHING about Quimper pottery, French faience roosters, or Haiku poetry. Reading her blog has opened up an avenue of knowledge about those things to me, something that I am sure I would never have had the opportunity to be exposed to before. I have enjoyed what I have learned about them from her sharing those things that she loves and holds dear, with me AND with her many other blog followers. Sarah is a retired educator but her gift of teaching continues on thru her blogging.

Thank you Sarah for sharing your Pay It Forward gifts with us BUT more importantly, thank you for sharing your gift of teaching as well.

Thank you for stopping by the farmhouse for a visit today. We love having company.

Au revoir,

Jacque, thank you again for your thoughtful words about me. I feel as you do that I learn so much each time I read another's blog. I've certainly learned from you. It's rewarding to connect with other bloggers across the miles. I was a child of the 50s and and we always had "pen pals" each year in school. I remember writing letters and receiving letters from these friends. It was one of my favorite activities at school. Blogging has brought some of that experience back into my life.
Your ornament really is stunning. Have you read all the wonderful comments people have left about your talents?
Thanks again, sweet, thoughtful friend!
Happy Pink Saturday! ~ Sarah

Hi Jacque,

That is amazing. I love it!
I'm with you, we are never too old to learn. Thank God!

I only wish I could visit all my favorite blogs on a very regular basis (daily would be ideal).
You are a very inspiring lady and I'm grateful we connected through blogging.

I also wanted to thank you for your sweet anniversary words. 6 years doesn't seem like a lot but it is 6 more than I thought I would have-hehe.
